Anti-Acne Gel (Epiduo Plain)

Epiduo Gel is a topical acne medication that contains both Benzoyl Peroxide and Adapalene. They are often used separately as a treatment in their own right but when combined together, they have a tendency to be more effective. Epiduo works in two ways; Benzoyl Peroxide helps to clear acne by acting as an anti-inflammatory agent and has a drying effect on the skin helping to peel away damaged layers of skin. Adapalene has a very close similarity to Vitamin A and helps the skin to renew itself so that new, healthy skin can form.
